Art of Viola Eade from the Chaos Walking Trilogy by Patrick Ness. Sketch and min. comp coloured.
Viola Eade sketch, fairly pleased at the way this turned out.
And a coloured one. I went with brown eyes, I don't know why. I just did. I was thinking of Bradley's eyes and the hope and the warmth in them and then they were on the page. Meh. Where as I think they're probably more blue like Saoirse (who is going to be Viola's PB).
I'm going to do a copic one and see if I can perfect an ocean blue for her eyes. I will always think of the ocean when I think of Viola. How small they must seem.
