Lois since LJ ATE CASS. AAAAAAAAAAGH.
Someone once asked me why I loved Lois Lane because as far as they were concerned Lois Lane was ‘just Superman’s girlfriend’. The idea of Lois Lane being defined as "just" anything still makes me angry to think about because she’s so much more than her relationship with Clark. Lois is one of the most loyal characters in Smallville. And whilst others change their minds or loyalties or become infected by darkness, Lois remains true and is unwavering in her loyalties. Lois is also one of the smartest women on the show. She’s not tech savvy like Chloe but she’s quick on her feet and tactical, analysing situations quickly before running head first into danger. Lois is strong willed and has a strong sense of right and wrong, almost as strong as Clark’s. To me, she has never been defined by her relationship choices but by the actions she takes and by the person she is.
What has always most attracted me to Lois, though, is her courage. Lois doesn’t have superpowers or special abilities but her determination and inner strength make her one of the fiercest opponents you’ll ever face and one of the strongest protectors in the series. She might not have Clark’s strength, Chloe’s smarts or Oliver’s skill but she makes use of what she does has and protects the heroes -- protects Clark -- more than they will ever realise.

YAAAAAAAY HERE COMES LOIS, MOVE OUT THE FUCKING WAY LANA. Seriously I waited FOUR SEASONS for Lois. And then I had seven glorious seasons of her.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:
...um nothing really pretty much EVERYTHING you think could happen happened. Noir episode, check. Popped out a cake dressed like a playboy bunny, check. Superhero costume, check. Superpowers, double check. ETC ETC.
