Dear Yuletide writer
First, thank you so much for writing for me. I hope you'll find something that you can write for me here! I'm fairly easy going ratings wise, I don't mind receiving G through to NC17. The holidays are a hard time for me so what I don't want to find really is angstangstangst, honestly anything other than that is fine.
Stuff I love in fics:
Femmeslash, het, worldbuilding, au, steampunk, fluffy romance, strong friendships/partnerships, snarky partnerships with lots of ust, action, noir, crack moments, comedy, never hurt anyone, old friends and inside jokes, past history, magic, illusion spells, spy/undercover deception, long plotty stories where the ship is a slow build (though definitely not expecting a long fic, just saying i do enjoy them), plot twists, origin stories, flashbacks, women being awesome, happy endings.
Stuff I do not like: Incest, rape/noncon, torture, mpreg, self-harm, angst, bdsm, humiliation and character death.
-Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness. Character: Viola Eade. Other: Todd Hewitt. Viola/Todd
I'm a huge Viola/Todd fan. I'd love to see a moment or several moments between Viola and Todd either during the series when they are alone together or set after the books end with Todd waking or Todd having woken up.
If you're not a Todd/Viola or a Todd fan, then I will gladly take Viola on board the ship pre-descent to the planet.
-Batgirl (Comic). Characters: Cassandra Cain, Stephanie Brown.
I love the friendship between these two and if possible I would love to see it developed into more than friendship. So, femslash but if not then I would love girly bonding between these two either set during Cass's run as Batgirl or Steph's.
The only thing I definitely want is hugs. Batgirl hugs.
-Tricksters by Tamora Pierce. Characters: Nawat Crow, Alianne Cooper
I love the relationship between Nawat and Aly, they're my favourite canon pairing and I would love a fic that explores their relationship post-uprising and possibly pre-babies. This is a prompt that I would definitely want M-NC17 but again, if that's not your cup of tea then I'll take them exploring the Palace together and exploring their relationship.
-Once Upon A Time (2011). Characters: Snow White|Mary Margaret Blanchard, Prince "Charming" James|David Nolan, Henry Mills, Emma Swan.
I'd love to focus on the Snow White family with the relationships building between all four Snow & Charming, Emma & Henry, Emma & Snow, etc... and if possible I'd love a flashback to the Fairytale world with Snow and Charming. OH! And I want a Winter themed fic. Buuut I honestly will take any of the characters if you're not feeling that inspired.
